Edward Lear: There was an Old Man of Cape Horn - ZaunköniG - 07.06.2019

Edward Lear
1812 - 1888 Großbritannien

There was an Old Man of Cape Horn,
Who wished he had never been born;
So he sat on a chair,
Till he died of despair,
That dolorous Man of Cape Horn.

Ein älterer Mann von Kap Horn,
der wünscht' er wär niemals gebor'n;
er hat stumm sich gesetzt,
starb vor Kummer zuletzt,
der verzweifelte Mann von Kap Horn.
