na ich weiß nicht, für mich ist da nicht im Ansatz ein Jambus zu sehen. Das ruckelt und zuckelt mir zu sehr, um noch gefallen zu können. Nichts gegen einen rhythmischen Bruch ab und an, aber hier ist es (mir zumindest) zu viel. Die Übertragung ist inhaltlich ok, auch wenn das "nowhere to hide" eine reimgeschuldete Notwendigkeit ist. Du zumindest redest nicht von "Verstecken" in der zweitletzten Zeile.
Gibt's den Blauen Salon noch? Ich war da mal vor ein paar Jahren zugange.

Ein Stück weit schämen muss ich mich ja schon. Fremdlästern geht an sich gar nicht. Als Buße das hier:

He leers through these at lace that scarcely girds
some buxom bosoms. Wipe. And yet there lingers
an image, a mirage, reflex of light,
a silhouette behind the pane. These stains,

He does’nt mind to swish and wipe and dry,
he’ll never steer an amtrak anymore.
“Why me” “who benefits” et al are gone
with all the ghosts he rubs away. It’s done,
no filthy trace remains. And like a score
of withered leaves a flock of crows sweeps by.
